GET INVOLVED

We have a housing crisis. In Binghamton. In Broome. In New York. In our nation. Residents are organizing and mobilizing all over the country to demand bold housing solutions that create healthier, equitable communities. The housing justice movement is emerging in Binghamton, but we need and welcome the energy, creativity, and passion of more residents like you. Consider reaching out to any of the groups below that are fighting for housing justice for ALL residents in the Binghamton area.

BINGHAMTON GROUPS

NOTE: The groups above were not aware of or involved with the construction of this website. We are simply listing them to inform our readers of trusted community groups that are doing important work around housing justice in the Binghamton area. Why do we mention this? Because local leaders have a tendency to deny or cut off funding to nonprofits that dare speak up about injustice and we want to make very clear that this website is the work of a few rag-tag citizens that demand and want housing justice, good and ethical governance, and public policies and investments that recognize the humanity of all residents. Should any of the above groups want to be removed from this website--or other groups want to be added--we will oblige. Please contact us at contact@binghamtonslushfund.org.
A civic project by local housing justice and good government advocates.
